Reminder that society means a voluntary association of individuals. It’s been said that there is a ‘legal society’ and what is allowed in that society is legal and what is not allowed is called illegal. This is according to private club rules. But we’re not all in that society. It may be necessary to rebut their presumption thou is in their society.
True, society can mean a community or nation of people, but our opponents always choose the definition most harmful to us. Should an equity-court judge ask, “Aren’t you a member of society?” Well the answer would either be “no” or “Which society?”
