Everything is treated as federal and maritime! Screenshot below claims:
- package was ‘shipped’ even though no 🚢involved.
- Package delivered to ‘dock’ even though on land.
- Sent to ‘IN’, the federal territory controlled by US, not Indiana, the state. And IN is naturally under US, short for United States, in Congress Assembled, or short for the corporate United States they created after the 1860s war b/t the states.
The truth is that my package was carried in a truck or plane to one of the 50 states of The USofA and delivered to the truck-entrance area. Not even sure it would be ‘commerce’ since no water involved.
The Articles of Confederation and perputual Union differentiate between trade and commerce. Further, it says the federal govt may impose some controls on trade and commerce but may not hinder it. See trade and commerce differentiated here: “and shall enjoy therein all the privileges of trade and commerce, subject to the same duties, impositions, and restrictions as the inhabitants thereof respectively”
