The book Sins of the State highlights the change to the word ‘person’ where they made it include corporations and similar. Suddenly, men needed to clarify if they are a natural person or an artificial person. The government would assume the latter as a means to assert jurisdiction.
Now, I will make clear that I conduct my life as a natural person, not an artificial person. I used to say I am a people, not a person, but that can confuse people who don’t know ‘people’ can be singular.
